Vascular Angiography (CT Angiography or MR Angiography)

Angiography is an imaging technique for visualizing blood vessels in the body, including arteries and veins, to detect narrowing, bleeding, or thrombosis.

CT Angiography
A contrast agent containing iodine is injected into a vein, typically in the forearm. A computer creates three-dimensional images of the vessels.

MR Angiography
A non-iodine contrast agent is injected into an arm vein, and the MRI scanner assembles images into a comprehensive view of the vessels
